Cecelia Campochiaro has done it again with this reversible scarf pattern for our 2024 Summer Solstice color, Jubilant!
Essitam is a reversible scarf made with subtle ribbing chevrons and two yarns. The sample is worked in Rumor from A Verb For Keeping Warm in the colorways Jubliant and Wisteria. Jubliant is in soft greens and oranges, while Wisteria is a delicate lavender so together they comprise the three secondary colors. The combination makes a soft, harmonious, and cheerful mix. The stitch pattern is straightforward, rhythmic, and meditative.
Essitam as shown is a long and skinny scarf, perfect for many different stylings, but you can easily make it a into a wider scarf or glorious big shawl—the shawl version requires double the yarn.
